Compassion Nepal works to make life better for those with less.

We first began helping an orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal, in 2009. The orphanage was called 'Compassion Nepal' and though while it is still our main focus, we have been able to help in lots of other areas here too.

Nepal, being one of the poorest countries in the world, from that time on has presented many opportunities to expand our work amongst the small community we live and work with. You can see a record of this in our News section.

In the west there is a lifestyle where it's okay to spend what would cost a Nepali worker a days' wages on a takeaway coffee each morning. Imagine a cup of coffee that cost $100! That's something of the ability we can harness from our countries. After beginning to see things this way we were inspired to begin to use this power for good.
